The company ALME AG was founded in 1984 by E.M.Bonetti as a one-man business. The first production plant was located in a garage in Ettenhausen (TG).

The company grew very quickly as a result of the high level of demand for such high quality products involving such challenging production. ALME AG was therefore often faced with situations where its premises had outgrown production requirements: An extension in Ettenhausen followed a move to a former spinning mill in Aadorf; but again space was in short supply and when more extensions and a rented hall proved not to remedy the situation, finally in 1997 a completely new production hall was established on Industriestrasse in Aadorf.

In 2001, another production hall was finally built next to the existing one. Today, ALME AG therefore has approx. 4500 m2 of office and production area, the majority of which is air conditioned.

ALME AG was one of the first small companies in Switzerland to achieve certification of its quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9002 in as early as 1992. Today, we are certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.

ALME AG presently employees around 50 members of staff.
