MIKROTURN® SPEIALLY BUILT FOR ALME AG

ALME AG, Swiss manufacturer of precision parts in Aadorf, has ordered a special version of the ultra-precision lathe Mikroturn®. With this new HEMBRUG Mikroturn® 200 L ALME intends to become the key supplier of longer UP parts. The machine 200 L has an extended Z axis of 700 mm and a tailstock for drums up to 200 mm in diameter. At first the machine is used for fine turning of big rollers used in the digital printing business. It replaces a more time-consuming and less flexible grinding process. In future it is also applied for other extreme precision turning processes with which micrometer exactness is required in hardened iron as well as noniron materials. The delivery will take place in August.
