Dank an Avi Kadosh

Wir von ALME können uns dem Dank an Avi Kadosh und der Würdigung seiner Arbeit durch Alon Bar-Shany, CEO of HP Indigo Division, nur anschliessen. Wir sind mit Avi Kadosh einen langen erfolgreichen Weg gegangen. Gemeinsam mit ihm starteten wir 1995 mit den Post-DRUPA-Herausforderungen und arbeiteten dabei eng mit HP zusammen. Wir verstanden uns nie nur als reine Zulieferer, sondern waren stets bemüht, Partner im Engineering und in der Produktion wichtiger Baugruppen zu sein, die für HP Digitaldruckmaschinen eingesetzt wurden. Als erster Zulieferer produzierten wir bereits 2009 die Prototypen der Serie 4-Trommeln und behielten über einen langen Zeitraum den Status eines Single Source Zulieferers - ein eindrucksvoller Beweis dafür, dass wir unsere Kunden von Anfang an mit „Turn Key Product“ unterstützen können. Bis heute gilt für den größten Teil der Walzen aller HP Digitaldruckmaschinen „alme inside“.

Those of us, like Avi, that joined Indigo around 1995 remember well the feeling of being the new kids on the block in an amazing company that had a vision to change the world. We went through the 1995/6 post drupa “challenges” to say it politely and as we say – what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Avi’s journey with Indigo over 25 years has been incredible – he has built and been built. Today he is responsible for procurement in one month that is much larger than all Indigo revenue in 1995. From working in a tiny pilot ink plant in Migada, he has been part of the revolution of S2, S3 and S4, establishing Kiryat Gat and Singapore and scaling all supplies production. Avi has always been passionate and taken great pride in enabling our growth and continued cost reduction, while building strong relationships with vendors and his team.
After 25 years it is time for a change, and while Avi’s contribution will be felt at Drupa 2020 and beyond given the work done over the last few years, I want on behalf of us all to thank him for his contribution and to wish him great success in his next steps. I know he will continue to push hard on all fronts till his last day and that his team will not drop the ball in this critical time as we ramp up for Drupa. As we end Q4 it is also good opportunity to thank the procurement team for their work during the holidays to bring in material as we pulled in press production for 6900 and other products in high demand, as well as for the Drupa portfolio Alpha and Beta.
Avi we will find time and way to thank you for your distinguished career and contribution, I know is an emotional day for you and many that have worked with you for so long.
